KAAP collaborated with Kansas Action for Children, Kansas Health Foundation, Kansas Health Institute, Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), the Kansas Health Policy Authority (KHPA) and United Methodist Health Ministry Fund to improve the health of children across the state. The Chapter has grown and adapted to the changing needs of Kansas children.

In 2008, KAAP set up the task force to help increase mental health resources for children and adolescents across the state.  Kansas KidLink provides provider education and has a website with a statewide resource of mental health providers that see children.  There is an interactive map on the website to make it easy to search for resources by county.
